Samandahl Rey's Sigil

Universe: Crossgen (Sigil #1).

Description: Superpower granting sigil. It covers the sigil-bearer's chest area.

Requirements: Crossgenverse sigils are designed for humans, so it is only effective in beings with at least partially human DNA.

Powers/function: The Crossgen sigil is the visible mark of a genetic overhaul that connects the marked character with a functionally unlimited wellspring of cosmic energy, as well as superabilities powered by these energies.
-Matter manipulation: In the case of Samandahl Rey's unique sigil, the primary ability received is molecular control over all non-organic matter, ranging from the creation of blades out of raw metal to the controlled breakup of an Earth-like planet into six giant asteroids. It can also be used for tasks which require high precision, such as fusing two ships together to form a new one or upgrading an existing one using the raw material of a debris field, though such delicate work is explicitly more complicated than brute force stunt like making a giant rock hammer to break an asteroid in pieces or forming a huge dirt hand to separate two warring armies. The matter manipulation requires no actual physical contact and it is entirely possible to, for example, make spikes grow out of a gun held by an enemy to make him drop the weapon.
-Energy manipulation/projection: The canon sigil bearer eventually gained energy control powers, which allowed him to steal the power of other individuals powered by cosmic energy, block the plasma fire of enemy starships, form simple energy constructs (such as platforms for levitation) and project destructive energies in several different forms. Sam Rey could release omnidirectional energy blasts to annihilate all non-biological matter within the blast radius, cause violent explosions by punching the ground (explained to be the result of violently breaking down the molecules), fire spaceship-wrecking energy beams that leap from target to target or concentrate his energy with cannons made with his matter manipulation for enhanced damage.
-Enhanced durability: As a side-effect of being imbued with cosmic energy, the body of the canon sigil bearer grew more and more durable over time. Initially, his durability was low enough that he could feel the sting of generic handheld energy guns, yet mid-way through his series he could mostly no-sell having a spaceship dropped on him and stand in ground zero of a continent-sized fireball and only be knocked out (minutes after having the spaceship dropped on him). Towards the end, he could fly without taking harm through an explosion powerful enough to destroy a fleet of spaceships.
-Healing factor: The sigil grants a relatively low level healing factor. Its only feat of note is healing in a few moments a flesh wound caused by a plasma blast and there is no answer about how much and what kinds of damage it can repair.
-Spaceflight: Even though Samandahl Rey never showed atmospheric flight, his sigil automatically generated an oxygenated field around him to protect him from vacuum and he could propel himself around enveloped in an energy aura. In this manner, he could fly faster than a starship moving at .99c (which implies that Sam Rey can fly at lightspeed towards the end of the run of Sigil).
-Undetectability: For reasons unknown, Samandahl Rey could only be tracked using technological or purely mundane means. He couldn't be detected at all using supernatural senses or cosmic awareness.
-Teleportation: Samandahl Rey eventually gained the power to teleport across interstellar distances, after seeing another superhuman use the ability. He never gained fine control over the ability, but in at least one instance he deliberately teleported himself to the location of an enemy (whose whereabouts where unknown to Rey prior to teleporting).

Disadvantages: Since the sigil is fueled by cosmic energies, entering areas devoid of these (such as certain extradimensional spaces) results in power shutdown.

Comments: Even with the limitations it has, the total absence of combat superspeed and the slow growth of durability… this is one hell of a powerset, if I may say so.
